Set on the water’s edge, The Sunken Cabin is all about privacy and quiet luxury. Your deck has the fire bowl, outdoor stone hot tub and sauna just steps apart, with the water in front of you. It’s an easy place to slow down, properly.
Inside is warm, calm and beautifully finished, with big glass doors that keep the view with you. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, whether it’s breakfast in, a simple supper, or a slow evening on the deck. Add the rainfall shower, soft bedding and wood burner, and you’re set.

That heated outdoor stone bath by the water is unreal. Took us a minute to get the temperature where we wanted it, but once it was dialled in we basically planned our whole evening around it. Super private, super peaceful

Came for a quiet couple of nights and didn’t want to leave. The sauna with the water view is such a nice touch after a long walk. Also the firepit is dangerous, you sit down for “ten minutes” and suddenly it’s midnight.

Parking was simple and it was easy to find. The kitchenette is great for the basics, breakfast, dinner, a bottle of wine. The rest of the time we were outside on the deck pretending we lived there.

The photos don’t really capture how good the setting is. Sitting in the stone bath with the lake right there is next level. Also shout out to whoever chose the lighting inside, it’s realy nice at night.
